       Nick Bovis gave a charitable gift to Students from San Francisco City Academy in the form of  baseball game tickets. Most kids are from immigrant families, and for many the school is a refuge from the struggles of outside life. Going to a baseball game was a very special experience for all of the .

The trip by Santa Nick Bovis was amazing and a surprise to these children of the Tenderloin district.   For most, the school is a refuge from the struggles of life in a district coping with drugs and crime.

      "When you see that little spark in their eyes, it just motivates you to help out and do this again” said Nick Bovis. “We are trying to introduce them to another world outside their little area here in the Tenderloin," said Nick Bovis .

      Children from poor, refugee and immigration families have shared with Nick Bovis their stories. He became not just a Santa but a real father for the entire school.   One of the kids have said that the day when Nick Bovis came to him with the gifts, was the happiest day in his life.
