Nick Bovis came to congratulate children on Christmas Eve and distribute gifts.

  "My mom and dad were on drugs. When I was little I was homeless, I was poor", says a kid in a San Francisco school where Nick Bovis came to congratulate children on Christmas Eve and distribute gifts. "Living without my dad is like living without a heart. No emotions come through me without him," says another one. However, Nick Bovis provided to these children some unforgettable experiences and became and Uncle to them.   Dressed as Saint Nick, Nick Bovis came to the school to spend time with these children and show them what it means to spend Christmas in the atmosphere of love and friendship.         Amongst other things Nick Bovis takes the kids to baseball games and provides them with Baseball equipment.     His mission is to provide under privileged children with the opportunity to experience baseball through providing bats, baseball gloves, equipment and tickets to ball games.   Overall, he has distributed more than 10.000 gifts. The trip by Santa was amazing and a surprise to these children of the Tenderloin.        Nick Bovis, a real Santa type person who has distributed gifts to 10.000 children, is famous for his charity.   He distributes toys for children from poor families, refugees and immigrants; takes children to baseball games and many other things.   Not so long ago there was an early Christmas for students at a school in San Francisco's Tenderloin District. Nick Bovis Foundation charity work for kids

                   There is a unique person living in San Francisco, Nick Bovis, who does a large amount of charity work for kids and is very concerned about the Ternderloin district.   Nick Bovis took students from a school in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood and went to many Giants games.   You might say he has adopted the entire school district after a story he saw on TV which touched his heart. Nick Bovis       "When we were growing up, you always had an uncle or dad who brought you to the game," said Nick Bovis, "So I am the new uncle for these kids," he said.   He replaces an uncle for these kids, he also distributes 10.000 gifts and 175 tickets to each baseball game. Nick Bovis Charitable Giving

          Nick Bovis is a man well-known in San Francisco for its charity.      He participates extensively in the San Francisco Annual Toy Drive over the winter holidays. Nick Bovis has given 10,000 toys to under privileged kids.   Moreover, Nick Bovis has brought Santa and toys to the kids at City Academy on Christmas for the past six years.   He was inspired when ABC7 News aired a story about the school and some heartbreaking journals the kids wrote about the challenges in their young lives. Most of the kids from the Tenderloin district are kids from immigrant families, and for many it's a refuge from the struggles of outside life.
