Nick Bovis Foundation is famous for his charity

 

     Nick Bovis, a real Santa type person who has distributed gifts to 10.000 children, is famous for his charity.  He distributes toys for children from poor families, refugees and immigrants; takes children to baseball games and many other things.  Not so long ago there was an early Christmas for students at a school in San Francisco's Tenderloin District.          His favorite sport is baseball and he does everything possible to share this passion with children. He buys sports equipment for them and very often takes them to baseball games.  In total, he has distributed not only the gifts but also tickets for many baseball games. The trip by Santa Nick Bovis was amazing and a surprise to these children of the Tenderloin. For most, the school is a refuge from the struggles of life in a district coping with drugs and crime. This was Santa's third visit to San Francisco City Academy.

     More than 12,000 children under 18 are living below the poverty level in San Francisco, and the toys are going to those who need them most.
